How It Works

HealthCrowd leverages the ubiquity of text messaging (SMS) combined with behavioral change techniques from the advertising industry. We use predictive analytics to deliver patients personalized, evidence-based, bite-size messages at the time when they are most likely to take action. Each patient is unique – we recognize that “one size fits all” communications isn’t optimal. Additionally, HealthCrowd is available in English and Spanish.

HealthCrowd fits unobtrusively into your workflow – alerts notify clinicians of items requiring attention, while succinct dashboards provide meaningful population / patient level trends. HealthCrowd is cloud-based, has no maintenance costs and scales infinitely. We can operate standalone or integrate seamlessly with most systems.

Clinically Proven

Text messaging interventions have been clinically proven to improve clinical, process and financial outcomes across a range of conditions. Large national health plans have been using text messaging from as early as 2006. Even the CDC launched a program in 2008. HealthCrowd brings prior research to the next level by using technology to address common shortcomings/gap identified by these studies. We also conduct our own clinical trials.
